Sustainable Peace and Development Organization (SPADO) is a peace oriented civil society organization contributing towards a culture of peace and non-violence since its inception in 2001. The organization carries out extensive research on socio, economic, political, arms including armed violence and development. Along with grassroots presence in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) engaged in protection of civilians affected by armed conflict, delivering Mine Risk Education to the communities in FATA, the organization is also active at national, regional and global levels contributing towards many peace and disarmament initiatives.
