Mine Risk Education
SPADO is imparting mine risk
education in FATA where the organization is contributing towards
reducing the risk due to landmines, IEDs and other remnants of war
by providing the current KPK IDP population and FATA residents at
risk with the necessary information to manage the menace. To date
more than 400,000 people have been educated through MRE sessions in
schools and communities. Along with educating the people at risk 100
community focal points in FATA were trained made engaged to ensure
the sustainability.
