Sustainable Peace and Development Organization (SPADO) with the support of Small Grants and Ambassador’s Fund Program (SGAFP) launched the project on “Improved Governance for Peace-building in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa”. The project which was implemented in the districts of Swabi and Charsadda and helped in creating awareness among the community regarding Right to Information Act 2013 and Right to Public Services Act 2014 passed by the provincial assembly of KPK. Additionally, the project aimed to strengthen the implementation of above mentioned acts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) for promoting peace and good governance in two target districts through:
Capacity building of Government officials and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs);
Awareness raising among citizens at large; and
Establishing Good Governance Dialogue Forums (GGDFs) for ensuring participation of the community.
