Improved Governance for Peacebuilding in KPK

Sustainable Peace and Development Organization (SPADO), with the support of the Small Grants and Ambassador's Fund Program (SGAFP), launched the project "Improved Governance for Peace-building in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa". The project was implemented in the districts of Swabi and Charsadda and helped create awareness among the community regarding the Right to Information Act 2013 and the Right to Public Services Act 2014 passed by the provincial assembly of KPK. Additionally, the project aimed to strengthen the implementation of these acts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) for promoting peace and good governance in the two target districts through:

• Capacity building of Government officials and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs);
• Awareness raising among citizens at large; and
• Establishing Good Governance Dialogue Forums (GGDFs) for ensuring participation of the community.
